Hello, I am Eric K. Jackson, founder of The Real Agent of Change. I retired from the FBI in March 2019 after serving for 21 years as the special agent in charge of the Dallas and Kansas City Divisions. I currently serve as the chief security officer and risk mitigation executive for TBK Bank, SSB, with locations in Dallas, Texas, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado, Illinois, and New Mexico.

My Personal Experiences in the FBI

I entered the FBI in 1997 and was first assigned to the Tampa Division, where I investigated international terrorism, organized crime, violent crime, drug, and health care fraud cases. While in Tampa, I also served as part of the hostage negotiation team. Throughout my career, I have been in various roles fighting crime.

  • Leadership positions in the counterterrorism division
  • Joint terrorism task force supervisor in the Memphis division
  • National security (counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and cyber) assistant special agent in charge in the Kansas city division
  • Served in cyber division at FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C.
